One searches in vain for a sketching pad in her atelier. Anne L. Strunk's paintings originate in her head and are transferred to canvas in a highly-expressive way. Her works are simply bursting with confidence and willpower, making such a positive impact that their joy and optimism become infectious. Anne L. Strunk initially worked as a copywriter for industry and radio before studying painting and graphics at the Institute of Plastic Arts in Bochum. She has worked as a freelance painter since 1999, her pictures having already found many admirers at numerous exhibitions in several countries ranging from Germany to Spain.
