It was, more than anything, the extendes stays in Marocco that inspired Gudrun
Olderdissen to photograph, compose and artistically alienate her "Narrative Pictures".
The photos are edited by computer and plotted on canvas. This gives rise to
portrayals of exceptional expressive depth. "I want to see behind the facades, leaving
nothing as it is. Life is development, change – and I make this visible in my own way,"
says the artist, commenting on her works. Gudrun Olderdissen has gained a
reputation with international exhibitions. Today, this enthusiastic cosmopolitan lives
and works in Tanger and Munich.
