Beautiful bodies, gleaming softly, pose against cold glazed tiles in old buildings or against large machinery in deserted factories, this contrast of delicate nudes against harsh reality holding a certain aura of eroticism. Andreas Jahn works mainly with amateur models, usually without lavish styling, but always right to the point. With a preference for black-and-white photography, he is constantly searching for new ideas. Born in Altenburg, Thuringia in 1956, he studied law in Jena and subsequently worked for the airline "Interflug". Since 1998, he has devoted himself to photography, finally setting up his own photo studio, Fotofactory-Berlin, in order to develop his artistic activities. Entries for photo competitions and the publication of various photographic volumes contributed to his success and ensuing popularity. A digital edition of his first piquant photographs has now also been published.
