Artistic fantasy and photorealistic elements, reality and abstraction, expressiveness and elegance – the interplay of these contrasting elements and the fascinating coloration transform Daniel Gasser’s pictures into experiences. The strong-cool blue, the color of water and of creation, is solely combined with a clear red and yellow and underscores the erotic aura of the forms. Daniel Gasser was born in Mulhouse in Alsace in 1948. After studies at the Ecole des Arts Decoratifs in Strasbourg, he worked as an illustrator for publishers and advertising agencies. Numerous exhibitions in France and other countries, as well as awards and prizes, have paid tribute to the work of this artist.
