The indescribable beauty of he Himalayan landscapes, the light, the nature and the people living there have deeply touched the photographer Olivier Föllmi. His photographs capture scenes which reflect the extraordinary soul of this region.
Olivier Föllmi has worked in this area for more than 20 years together with his wife. In 1990, the artist was awarded the World Press Photo Award for his photograph “Chemin d´Himalaya“. In addition to his artistic endeavors, Olivier Föllmi dedicates himself to the HOPE organization (Himalayan Organisation for People and Education) which he founded.
